@Low&Slow NTC is the devil. I don't think we came back with an ETF above .95

Also, our birds are 2010's. They're still running strong, but that is a direct result of the mx program. The KS and LA birds we traded for needed some loving...

Our 1978/79 T700 powered A models consistently had .98 or higher with all the desert ops we do, before they were converted to A+'s

@MikeD a few Joes from AZ (WAATS maybe?) came here to Grand Ledge, MI last month and picked up one or two of our older airframes (A/L). We also sent one or two to CO (HAATS) Those were our last ones. We're all Ms now.

You can do a bit better than the take-off and landing numbers listed. I did a mgtow and empty as reasonable(3hrs gas and me) stol competition this month and while I still really need to work on my spot landings, numbers were 200ft gross takeoff, 346 landing on a 5kt headwind, 191ft takeoff empty, 200 landing empty, those two numbers with a 5-10kt tailwind tailwind.

The only major modification I've done is taller gear legs and tk1 shocks instead of bungees.

Had a great week playing with fun toys

How does one go about getting to fly the A-1E Skyraider? My dad flew those from NKP during the Vietnam War and I would LOVE to fly one.
This Christmas will be 20 years since he passed away and I still think about him often and miss him. I know I tend to be very sentimental, but I think it would be an awesome way to experience a part of his life.
