Y'all do realize that for an engine with any kind of electronic control the egt/tgt/t I t number you see is largely a fictional number that has relevance only in how far away it is from the redline right?

I would have to look, but I am certain the CT79B gives a raw EGT. While it has a DECU it doesn't change the redline.

My all-leather (Vietnam era) combat boots made mighty fine roofing boots.

My then-neighborhood of 70-80 year old houses all would need roofs soon, and we formed an informal neighborhood roofing co-op. Homeowner bought the shingles, nails, KFC and beer, and we had guy-bonding weekends several times a year. There was always somebody who'd faced any problem that came up, and the rest of us learned. Including how not to fall off.

We just sent 10 of our M-model Medevac birds over there. That might be one. If you have a tail number I could tell you for sure.
If so, I modified the gun mounts to limit the travel of the weapon system so a gunner doesn't accidentally put holes in the External Fuel Tanks. I also helped install the EFTs.
We're getting dedicated HH-60Ms to replace them here.

Dust off' are armed now? You guys finally dump the red crosses off of them?

Ha! Oops, great catch! I misspoke.
No, the Mikes we sent over are escort ships. We're getting more UH60Ms to replace them here.
We have A/Ls with IMMSS kits for Medevac here, at least until we get brand spankin' factory new HHs to replace them later this year.
