It's only by coincidence Memphis ended up on my list of destinations this weekend. Especially the Lorraine Hotel, site of MLK Jr.'s assassination and now converted into the National Civil Rights Museum.
It's... A powerful experience.
Aviation and other pictures to follow, I just wanted to share this image, looking down Mulberry St toward downtown Memphis. The block leading up to and surrounding the Lorraine has been blocked off by bollards, so it's all pedestrian traffic. We spent about 3 hours there, and I know I missed stuff.
