From the Colorado flooding....
Water now covers an area larger than the State of Connecticut!

Stretches of asphalt totally washed away

That is crazy! I feel so sorry for the people that have to deal with it. Where I grew up we had floods every year during fall, back in the days it was rather entertaining, like being able to ride around the main city square on a windsurf board or drive my Wrangler in 2 feet of water on the way to school.

But this is just terrible.....

We have some real talent here on JC. Mike's picture is better than the one Boeing put on their official photostream on flickr.
It was definitely tough out there today. Conditions were about has horrible as you can get without it raining. I'm sure someone who is better at editing could probably clean it up better.
All the Boeing Press photos look like they were taken with cell phone cameras.

Sweet! Boeing runs a good ARFF team, and will take trucks like that very one to places they will be doing testing. One just like that one was based at KIWA for a long time during 777 testing..Also, Boeing's ARFF dept (former McD, former Hughes), responds together with Mesa FD's single ARFF truck at KFFZ in Mesa.

Boeing had a truck at Willie during 2004/2005 due to the retrofits they were doing on the T38s there as well. At least I seem to remember it saying Boeing on the side.
