Nice! But, what's with the tracks prior to your GPS art work? Were you crop dusting or flying a search and rescue pattern for a kitten?

We're doing some precision survey work with a LiDAR system installed in the plane this time around.... Flying lines that low & close makes you do funny things by then end of the day... But that's about all I can comment on. The first rule of LiDAR is... You don't talk about LiDAR....:D

Not many airplanes can pull up beside me and just stay there. This guy did. I'd love to have one.

is this the new top secret navy plane I've been hearing about?

Regarding your lack of FMS Samstanton......www.fltplan.com

:) Thanks capnflyright of course that was my first fuel check. This was a max range trip for the lear 35 and my hand written fuel tracking was a double check of fltplans estimated fuel burn. Fltplan is great but when you have a 30 year old airplane and a 4.5 hour leg I think its a good idea to keep 2 eyes on your landing fuel estimate. In the end we landed with about 300 lbs less than fltplan said we would. Once we were sure we would make the east coast with plenty of fuel we were a little more generous with the power.

No, I would tell you. Just visiting Florida for the weekend to collect promised free food.

Edit; altitude was 500 feet. iPad is non certified and lies a lot.
