Real honest-to-god rollout sunshades. You guys have no idea how happy this makes me.

Derg, you jelly bro?

Man I would love those. On the CRJ we have these little plastic squares that come loose during the takeoff roll and hit you in the face.

A short local flight with my oldest son, went and picked up my uncle who is visiting from out of state to show him the area from the air.

The small logging town of St Maries, where the St Joe river drains into Lake Coeur d'Alene. The St Joe is supposedly the worlds highest navigable river. They were still floating logs down it and moving them 15 miles up the lake with tug boats until about 4 years ago.

The Coeur d'Alene river is slightly flooded from spring melt off.

There's still a little snow.

This thing is sweeeeet, I want it!

As we were taxiing in after the flight a little experimental/ultralight thing was rolling down the taxi way in front of us. My son says "hey dad, should that thing have a bucket hanging on it's tail?". The guy was heading for the departure end of the runway with his 5 gallon tie-down weight hanging from the tail. Thankfully the guy had a radio and I was able to call him back in. I told my son he almost certainly saved the man's life as I expect it would've gone nose up and stalled on takeoff. Scary. The guy stopped and removed it and here he is taking off.

Great pictures and fantastic work by your son!

Taken high above the 18th hole on Sunday from Snoopy 1, literally seconds after Ricky Fowler won his first PGA tour event (Wells Fargo Championship) in the playoff.

Went on a cross country yesterday. A little cloudy, but found some breaks to take a look above:

Bonus points if anyone guess this school:

A hint...it's very close to this body of water (don't mind the dead bugs on the window):

Zoo mass in Amherst! Are you flying out of Northampton? The valley is my old stomping ground!

You got it!

I flew out of Northampton a few times a couple of years ago, but then joined a club and started flying out of Turners Falls. Great place for flying!

Nice! Yeah I'm still in and out of Turners every now and then with my current gig, it's nice to see people from that area on here!
