daily pic

Here is a picture after getting fuel this evening. Today was the perfect day for flying. The air was still, the sun was setting, and no one in the airspace. This was the first time I have gotten to watch the sun set while flying.

I chuckled :laff:

A funny sign i saw over the urinal in KBIH one night. I had to get a picture.

Alasksdrifter, great photos. Is that an 85 on yout T-craft? How does it do with those tires? I have a 46 BC12 that is getting the Swick/Cole conversion done to it. Clippedwing, big tail, stick control and an O-290. Should be fun.

I started my taildragger life with an old T-Cart.

Glad to see another one of us here.

Add.... OK, just went back up and looked at your post again. 65hp....Lots of fun!

Ak Bushwheels are the best money (other than gas money) I've spend on her. However skis in March/ beginning of April are still my favorite!

Haven't been flying much lately, but here's today's daily pic, -21F on the way to work....brrrrrr.

I used to be able to get that if I drove like a Grandma in mine...but generally going 75 it got around 23

Lucky, Evo gets a solid 23 if I feather the throttle and shift before the boost builds, but where is the fun in that? I average around 19. Was your ECU flashed?

Nice shot!! What settings did you use for this pic? Tripod? How long exposure? I'm interested in doing some night photography just haven't started yet. Either way, nice shot.

Thanks man! No tripod, just rested it on the rail of the observation deck. It was around a 1-1.5sec exposure I believe. I shoot with a Rebel XT and to be honest I got lazy on this one, i had the camera set to auto\no flash since it was freezing out and I didn't want to mess with manual haha

I haven't been able to fly in over a week because of the snow here, but here's a cell phone shot of me flying over PA while at work....yeah that's a 43kt GS with full power at 4500ft level...
