Probably my favorite thing in my camera bag (other then my actual camera and lenses) is my polarizing filter. I bought a cheapo one from WalMart to test it out, and I've been absolutely loving it ever since.

It's been amazing with bringing out colors, which I love when it comes to darkening the sky. It also reduces reflections, making windshields look great.

I recently came across two interesting pictures from my Oshkosh '11 set. Both were taken using the same settings on my camera, and have only been photoshop'ed to reduce the size and stack them side-by-side.

The shot on the left is with the filter rotated 0 degrees, and the right is with the filter rotated to it's max.
