Inbetween at couple buildups at FL190

Spotted some Mama clouds while decending for the airport.

Pretty strong storm passed over while we were in the lineup to depart. A cirrus accepted a release and departed just as lighting started to hit right around the airport. Capt and I thought he was nuts! We got as far as lining up on the runway to checkout conditions, and upon seeing the entire north end of the runway hidden behind a wall of water, we decided to go in and just shutdown until it all passed.

CE650... a very nice airplane. That was in the process of type training in the actual airplane. A real sweetheart to fly!

...so yesterday, through a comedy of errors, we end up landing, then taking off from Tallahassee Florida...when I returned to Lake City, I had a pm from sr22driver that said he had a photo of us taking off from Tallahassee, and offered to buy me lunch (thanks Jim). Anyhoo, he txts me this photo!View attachment 17523 JC makes the world very small!!!

Guess the world is REALLY small, I was working tower when you came in. Worked TANKR22 again today if that was you.

It's a little off in places, but overall I thought it turned out okay. Couldn't get it to get the overhead panel in there, though.

I did talk to Tallahassee approach today for a fire SW...we passed about 30 south on the way back to Lake.

Thanks, I've felt like we're working a fire tower these past two weeks with all the bucket helos and then you guys. The helos cancel flight following about 10 miles from TLH so I only knew they were heading SW...

Yep, all of ours have them. Didn't know 767s existed without two; non-ERs I guess? Truth be told though, the seat behind the center pedestal is more a third pilot seat than it is a jumpseat.
