Hi All, I was wondering why in the DA42 Vy is 79 while Vx is 86? To me it would be more realistic to have Vx at a lower airspeed to correlate a higher pitch attitude.

I used this website to gather the airspeed information for Vx and Vy. http://www.aopa.org/pilot/features/2006/feat0611.html
Vy in the Thielert-powered version is 79. Vy in the Lycoming-powered version is 90. Vx is not published in the manual for either model. I don't know where AOPA got its information.
