No, Cal Fire's birds are all Tprops now...GO/CO The Fed owns them, and the state somehow has control of them and then contracts the operation to DynCorp.
Here is a picture I took of T55 P2V (Minden Air) with the newest Tanker Captain Bryan Baker...enroute to a fire near Mt. Ranier.

Thought you'd appreciate some P-3 Videos from the Zaca Fire, 2007.
This particular pass inspired me to get the ball rolling and get my PPL.
Such a spectacular thing to see from the ground.
