Background of my question is simple.
A gentlemen in my basic indoc class went to flight safety, was selected for an internship at my new company, and is now in class.
Talking with him today he told me he got his commercial multi at 167hrs TT.
I took a double take and then said, well. . .how? He said Part 141. I said, well, I've been teaching in a 141 environment for the past 6 months and the Commercial 141 requirement is 190 hours (35+35+120) total time.
He never provided any further guidance as to how he completed his Comm multi at 167 hours. . .so, if any of you FSA guys wouldn't mind explaining it to me that'd be great. . .or is he just blowing smoke up my ass and he doesn't have a clue about what he is talking about?
You guys running some 165hr Commercial course down there?
