Comair Mesaba Merge??

Wow!!! Two pages of the biggest dis-informational rumors around!:clap:Someone on another site made up a fake news article about Comair and Mesaba's mx departments merging. The article was dated November 2010!:laff: I have not heard anything to the contrary...but who knows what RA has in store for us or anyother DCI carrier.....well other than Freedom.:dunno: It's nice to hear the gossip and spread it, but I just come to work everyday and as long as my SIDA gets me in the door and I get my paycheck on payday(without any paycuts!:o); I'm a happy camper!:rolleyes: Though moving up to Delta wouln't be such bad idea. At least I'd get my old norev priority back!:D

Ours has gotten smaller and has now been relegated to the back of our new badges. They don't want anyone to know we work for Delta or DCI...I guess.:rolleyes:

I would say that most 9E guys are NOT wishing to acquire any more carriers. For one PNCL corp doesn't have the cash. We are still working through the Colgan purchase and have joined forces via MEC level to keep both sides working together. We will not vote in a subpar contract- I think the failed TA vote and the recalls of those who supported the deal show that the pilot group won't just roll over.

I still believe that the DL management group will make attempts to sell off the 3 WO carriers as things turn around. If the carriers cannot be sold I can see them being worked together to try and cut costs. I wish no harm on any pilots at the WO carriers, but it's just some thoughts that I have. I think the regionals are still going to get jerked around (WO or not) before the turnaround at mainline level begins.

Yeah, this one isn't looking good for us either :).

But that's ok. It's a good pilot group, and I live in base. Just crossing my fingers on the furlough.

Hey good luck man. Like I said, I'll be out come April 4th. Unless they do what they did to the January furloughs and extend them for 7 days. Which in that case I might call in sick. One thing I will miss is the pilot group. Awesome group of guys. Hopefully all this crap won't mess up morale here. Some of these guys have been through it enough.

Yeah, about 1/2 have done this song and dance and they say this is MUCH easier than the shamruptcy. I'm sure you know all this already. It's just too bad. I'll be out (easily) by april of next year. See you at the bread line.

I'll join you on that! Jokes about some of these people are sometimes the only way to remain sane with certain people!
