Now, as for a personal update, I am set to start SIU Carbondale in Jan. but am reconsidering for Utah Valley University (UVU, also previously known as Utah Valley State College). Their fleet seems much nicer, but other than that it's mostly for personal reasons like being closer to family, cooler outdoor adventures to be had (hiking, biking, climbing, boarding), cooler views while flying. I definitely won't go wrong sticking w/ SIU, but the more I look into UVU, the more I'm starting to prefer it.
From reading around on other threads, seems like the GI Bill didn't used to cover UVA's flight fees. But that might be a bit dated because the UVA website claims that the flight fee's are charged as a part of the fee's for the course, so this SHOULD mean that the VA will cover the flight costs. I'm in the process of confirming this with their Veterans Office. And most of the UVU info I found was for their online program. Anyone out there gone through UVU's traditional classroom program recently or looked into it? Who can chime in about the program? Confirm VA coverage?
