Colgan guys that didnt get paid this morning

Rob,

Don't sweat the pay stub. I didn't find one person yesterday who's stub was correct. Vacation and sick balances wrong, wrong deductions etc. Simply the best

When 9E went "in house" we had a single paycheck screwed up for some. We also had balances screwed up (sick/vac) on one. It took 1 month to be "right". The company DID cover overdraft fees of effected pilots who had automatic payments overdraft. It was a mess for a total of 1 month. We did receive an apology, overdrafts were covered, and payroll did call and wake me at 6am (as an R&I guy and their payroll contact to alpa) telling me what happened the night before and what was being done to fix it. It was less than 1 day for Funds to make it into accounts.

Well I finally got paid but I have been shorted quite a bit. Unless something changed for the new year... I cant look at my stub because I am at home.

Isn't this pay for 2010? For 2011, there is a taxcut that Congress enacted so you should see more in your take home. Having managed a payroll implementation twice in the past five years, I can say what they did was wrong and unacceptable (not to mention illegal)!

I wonder how many other Colgan pilots were paid but shorted.

I'm no mathemagician, but if CJC accountants screwed up and couldn't make payroll for a period of time, wouldn't an "error" be a cover-up?

If we have a large occurrence of shortages, we have an attempted stop-gap to prevent mutiny.

When I bailed out of Colgan before a year, they withheld my final paycheck. Later on, I got a check from Pinnacle Holdings for the balance due.

There's some seriously fishy stuff going on in the head shed of Colgan Air. I really hope the employees of CJC give them no quarter. They'll hose you without a moment's hesitation.

I remember guys having their pay messed up (myself included) here, but I don't remember people just not getting paid when we switched from ADP to in house.

My guess is he's basing it on his other paychecks for 2010. If he's short there, then based on the info you provided for 2011, he may even be shorter and not know it.

Eight weeks ago I submitted the required forms to switch my direct deposit from one bank to another. The two pay periods prior to this mess I have had problems with my checks including being shorted 40%. I have been checking with them for the last 4 weeks to determine what the hold up is on the change and keep being told "it should be completed by the next pay period." I called payroll on the 2nd to confirm that the direct deposit was setup and was told "we don't have any bank information for you whatsoever." By the way, I checked with my bank and they submitted approval 3-4 weeks ago. So I get back to base lastnight and have a form in my folder saying that my money was deposited in to my OLD bank account, the one that I switched from eight weeks ago and closed a few weeks ago after two pay cycles without a deposit from the company! Now I get to wait 72 hours for my "live check." This is getting really old.

Well BC put out a memo indicating company will take care of overdraft fees incurred as a result.
Yeah but that is another mess I don't want to have to deal with if I can avoid it... I have a little reserve but I hope this can be resolved before it gets to that.
