Colgan (again)

Hey Man, I am very interested. I Have 118 Multi but a bit shy on the TT..only 402. ..dou you think I have a shot?...

Why don't you like CommutAir? They are a good company, no training contract, and finally they are getting the cabin class aircraft that they've been talking about for years.

I have heard alot of good things about them turning it around in the past few years. The near 20 million in financing towards the Cleveland flying for COA is really gonna give them the strength to move and expand.
The turboprop market is making a comeback.
The best opinion you can make in terms of making a career move it the decision you make yourself.
good luck

Does anyone think Colgan will let me transition from the Saab to the Beech?

I don't think so if the Beechs are going away!

The biggest issue I have heard is the block time pay, nothing else... I still want to know where CAL is going to put the Q400, Commutair is getting Q200s!

Colgan is getting them. And they've sold a couple 1900's already from what I've heard.

colgan has been doin the cal flying for just over a year now. It's all speculation, but i'd put money on a handful down in houston and some in EWR. IF they work out, i'd expect to see more. I just hope that mgmt reaches a deal with pcl pilots before they announce and aircraft order. I'd hate to see them spending pcl money to build another airline. The good thing about colgan is that we were making money when we were acquired. It's like buying a house with equity already built in. Hopefully an aircraft order for us will be like taking a second mortgage to add more value to the whole. Hopefully we can turn good money with the q's or atr's and help PCL get some 700's or 900's. Wishful thinking
