The end-all be-all of business jets, IMO, is the Lockheed Jetstar. The older versions with the 4 engines.

Acutally, the older version is the two engine. Lockheed figured out pretty quickly that two engines weren't enough so they slapped four CJ-610s on the thing and they were all set. I've never seen the CJ-610 version in the US, only in Mexico. I've have seen a couple of Lockheed 731, the youngest model, flying around.

Just got back from a 3 day trip to pick up an airplane for the University I flight instruct for. Spokane, WA to Kansas City in 2 days in a 172RG. I had to be peeled from the seat.

Anyways, like Aloft said, the guy I work for in CAP is a Citation X Instructor and TCE at Flight Safety in Columbus.

He loves the airplane, and has flown enough different airplanes and has enough hours to know a good airplane when he sees it. Prior to the Citation X instructor job, he was an Ultra Instructor for FSI. Prior to that, he was a corporate pilot in a Cheyenne.

Anyways, it seems like NJA Capt answered all the questions, but I've got a set of manuals sitting here and I can always call the guy if there's a question.
