It's an exciting time to work at Grant Aviation! We're a growing, made-in-Alaska Part 135 carrier known for our strong track record of safety, and for being one of the friendliest airlines in Alaska.

We are currently seeking to fill our Chief Pilot position. The Chief Pilot reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for the oversight and management of the Flight Department. This position requires a high level of expertise in regulatory compliance, personnel management, policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. In conjunction with upper management, the individual will continue development of policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards as well as efficiency of operations.

Education and Experience:

  • Meet the requirements of FAR 119.71(c).
  • Possess FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • Minimum of three years of experience within the last six years as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or 135.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of FARs.
  • Experience in B200, C208, PA31, GA8, or C207 preferred.
  • Experience in Rural Alaska preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous Director of Operations or Chief Pilot experience preferred.
  • Previous Check Airman experience preferred.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and must meet the company’s vehicle insurance requirements.
