Check his face out

Mesa only flies their own colors on their own independent routes though, or at least that's the way it's SUPPOSED to go LOL.

Gulfstream is called Continental Connection for a reason, because they aren't Express Jet! Just like when they were "affiliated" with United, they were not considered United Express.

My parents were not so indulgent with me. If I wanted to go to church league basketball I had to arrange a ride.

I remember hitchhiking home across the city one night. My dad finally came out and got me.

Remember, there is no commandment that says "Honor your children!"

But Chris is right, it's about misplaced priorities.

making your child hitchhike home from basketball practice sounds like neglect to me.

Hitchhiking back in Tenney's day was much more commonplace than it is now.

My dad hitchhiked to school for 4 years or so...

My dad walked uphill both ways, up to his butt in snow. So I was told.

Some guys are just too sensitive. They only hear the criticism about their chosen path and somehow miss the dozens of negative stories about crappy FBO's. I think it's called a martyr complex or something like that.

;)

I really don't believe that. I've had guys tell me they did that and then found out that they paid.

I work across the hall from a guy who used to handle the finances of the new GSA FOs.

He told me that in the very beginning 5 guys transferred over from Airways International without paying, but technically they "paid" because they had to pay for training at Airways.

You give me the names of the people that didnt "pay" and I'll check up on it if you want. I'll see the guy Thursday.

LOL! I'm not giving you anyone's name without their permission. I was an instructor at the GIA academy back when they had an ab initio program, so I know several CFIs that didn't have to pay a dime for FO training. One of them happened to be my Inst/Comm instructor.

I believe that they TOLD you they didn't pay.

They were even told hey could say it and the company would not deny it.

I also believe that everyone had to pay. Why would they let anyone in free when they had pilots who were willing to pay to get there? (Yes, Eagle pilots in SJU paid to get out of there and be in Miami - true story.)

Ok I just wanted to post the picture....this wasnt suppose to turn into a slamfest for Gulfstream. Most here have the same opinion about the place. Its just a picture a friend took
