CFIs Needed

dude, of course not, I'm a sierradiser for life, how skywest these days man?
SkyWest kicked my ass all through training, but I made it through. Now I'm just waiting on IOE where I'm sure they will hand it to me. In the mean time I might stop by next week some time. Apparently my uniform jacket got sent out there, plus I have some business to take care of in Atwater and some friends to visit in the Bay Area.

Ok, I will offically say that I'm not exactly fond of this place, but being from BOSTON (hope you guys can figure out who I am) and being stuck in the valley sucks. But this job will land you hours out the arse, the people here you work with are mostly rad, and the students are what they are. This last weekend I went to San Deigo, got paid over 200 bucks for the time, and ohh wow, never paid anything. Let's see, sit on the beach and look at women, tough job.
Haha...Boston! What's up, man!? I'm hoping if I have a string of days off to pay you guys a visit, but it's gotta cool down there first (I can't take another summer like last year over there). :)

Congrats on SkyWest!!!!

Lets's see, Nick, WAFlyer, WestIndian, Peter, David S, Eric A, Louie, and a few others I can't think of right now all found out about the job through this thread. Todd lurks around and makes a post every blue moon or so. Who am I forgetting? Lots of you still owe me beer! :bandit:

Yeah, I suspected it was george all along, but the comment about the pineapple vodka and long walks on Castle ramp at sunset confirmed it. :D

Well it's about time I jump into the fray and add to the ever growing length of the Castle thread! The James rocked last night :rawk:

I just wanted to add ASA (American School of Aviation) sucks ass. They borrowed our Duchess, took parts off of it, put it on their piece of #### Duchess. Somehow put a huge ding on one of our relatively new props, somehow put a hole in the vertical stabilizer, drilled out the lock on the door because they lost the keys...amongst the other bad biz they run out there.

It is my sincere hope that there is a pair up in an Alarus right now, just getting settled in for an all nighter up or down the valley and to a California coastal location of their choice (choice being made by the lowest forecast ceiling at the coastal airport).

The strobe blinking in the darkness, the cockpit starting to cool down, a bit of chatting on 123.45 with the rest of the flight of three planning a multitude of fuel stops and perhaps a visit to Nancy's or OAK Jack in the Box, and the instructor doing mental math in their head that comes up with an arrival time at Castle of just before the 7AM flight block. At that time the sunglasses will be on, water jugs will be as empty as the Alarus fuel tanks, the Chinamen's circadian rythyms temporarily annihilated, and those finishing the long night will receive strange looks from those walking out to preflight their morning lesson.

Oh, Castle! I miss you! :p

As of yet we do not have any night owls, though we do have an early morning guy who starts at 4am. The temp has been actually below normal, low 90's this week. I envy Mr. Evans who will be flying the a/c equipped King Air.
