Hello. I am based at VNY, and I need to take a flight to VGT, PHX, then somewhere in Texas, unsure yet, and then back. Leave Friday, return Sunday. I need to make a couple of stops. I'll pay for fuel and lodging. You help with flying, giving good advice, and someone to talk too.

I am looking for a CFII to go with me that wants to build some cross country time.

The airplane is a 2005 Cessna 182T G1000, XM radio, KAP 140 and is real nice.

Call or email me if you are interested.

Thanks

I'd be interested, but I work for Great Lakes, and will have Saturday afternoon through Tuesday off.. Right now I work Wednesday through Saturday morning.

Right now the schedule is for Friday- Sunday, but maybe next time. Thank you! Anyone else?

The CFII's benefit is the opportunity to time build a lot of hours in a short time. No $$ pay. I understand this isn't for everyone. Probably a fresh CFII would want it, not career pilots.

Even if I needed the time and not the money, I still expect to get paid for my services. "Kindness of the heart" doesn't pay my phone bill.

Not to mention the fact that it's a $250-300,000 airplane, so it's kinda hard to believe that one cannot "afford" to pay a poor CFI for their time...

I cannot STAND people that get somebody to work for free. If you want a buddy to just come along then grab a buddy. You wan't a CFII so you can get instruction and help for free? I hope nobody does this.
