CFI Position in SC

My school is losing a CFI so she can go to the Flight Safety in hopes of an airline job and we need a replacement.

Coastal Aviation flies out of East Cooper Airport (8S5) in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The position is full time.

We fly all new 172SPs (We have 4) for student training and have a Warrior for Rental.

My pay as a part time instructor is $15 / Instruction Hour, I'm not exeactly sure how the owner does full time pay, but that's something to ask if you are interested...

Click here for our web site.

You can call or email Bill Pearson (Owner)...

What's she going to do at FlightSafety to get an airline job?

FlightSafety is starting up their direct track program(s) with ASA and Eagle. Check the FSI forum for details.

Personally, I get about 20 hours a month, but then again, I'm just part time...
From what I see on the schedule the full timers are very often full for the day... I guessing they get about 60-80 hours a month? Don't know for sure...

We do mostly Private and instrument... we have one guy who's doing CFI. We also do alot of airplane check outs and some BFRs.

Thanks....i was lookin at yalls (yes im southern) and your 172's look pretty nicely equipped....said something about MFD's?....are they speaking of multi function displays?....

Yep, 2 of our 172s (99H and 96Z) have Multi Function Displays. They're pretty nice... Well maintained and clean! (we get paid $50 to clean them... good for those slow days)

I think Bill might be trying to hire 2 right now, I know of one that is interviewing tomorrow that saw it from JC... He asked me if I knew anyone else that was looking to instruct... so that makes me think he wants 2.

I am several hours short, but would love to CFI in SC. On a side note, I was a Stingrays fan for one season.

I'm interviewing Monday morning, I'll let everyone know how it goes.
Thanks again Erik for the post and the info you emailed me.
Maybe I'll be seeing you soon.

No problem...

Going to be thunderstormy (vocabulary influenced by my 3 year old
