Oh and that bread/scat thing? That's just wrong dude.
maybe you can hire me to fly your airplane someday!Well I just wanted to chime in on my own thread here since it seems to have started some heated debate about persistence and the word usage.
So if it helps set the record straight, I dont have the persistence to make it in aviation. It's the plain and simple. If I did, I wouldnt be leaving the field!
Now, just because I dont have the persistence, doesnt mean I'm a failure. It means that my priorities have changed in life, and I'm QUITTING (yes, QUITTING) this phase of my life. I now am trying to be PERSISTENT in the catering and restaurant field. In such a short time in comparison to aviation, I am actually sucessful. I make more money than what the costs are. I'm in the green, so have it. Hence, why I feel that to pass this opportunity to continue to be in the green and enjoy other things in life, would be not worthy.
So call it whatever everyone wants, but I guess i'm good at making money in the restaurant and food industry than I am in the aviation field. Hopefully everything continues well, and I can continue to have aviation as a hobby and not as a profession!

They also like the reclining seats in the back...why don't you go "fly" that?![]()
Sounds like a game plan! How about DPA_Pilot come and do the line service on the plane. I'm sure there will be some stuff "flying.":cwm27:
Just make sure it's a jet.... I want to fly a jet. I am an aviation failure, I am just a lowly T-Prop pilot....maybe...someday...if I just keep trying...I might get to fly a jet!
righto...Hey if a turboprop isn't a jet neither is a 737-700.![]()

I can make it so you don't have to fly a "lowly" turboprop if you would like.. Cmon how many dudes get to shutdown two and still keep flying? The mighty P3 the Harley of the skies.
Now I'm being arrogant.![]()
Do I really need to use the sarcasm tag with you? :dunno:You hear it in my voice every morning, when I greet you.![]()
Man...you guys are really gaying up Bigey's thread...
Once you guys get over the initial bloom of your romance, how about getting off your asses and starting a SEAT program so I can live my dream. Just a thought.
