ATC: United 123, follow the Southwest 73 to runway 22 left.

Unfortunately, not the case.....coincidentally speaking that you happened to bring up midairs specifically. Granted, it was their older scheme, and maybe its one reason they went to the banana.

IMO, Delta bought the airline and dismantled it.
