I filled two Sic-Sacs on a flight once, and my stomach’s pretty tough. The challenge was holding BOTH of them closed while finding a place to set down. You never really think of things like that beforehand.

“Ladies and gentlemen we will now be boarding our gold star advantage customers in lines 1 and anyone needing extra assistance or traveling with a child, please try not to step in any of the vomit while you board”

Honestly.... can’t be much worse than the last South West flight I got stuck on.

Was at JYO all day yesterday doing some CFI ground stuff but we were listening to IAD on the scanner. There were quite a few go-arounds. The wind was serious.

Flew in and out of RDU yesterday around 10am. From about 5000 ft to touchdown it was moderate turbulence with +/- 20 kts on final with a crosswind and 10-15 kts gust factor. FO looked at me afterwards and said, “How is that not wind shear?”

Certainly strange at times when rude windshear voice screams at you and when it doesn't.

Yesterday my neighbors fence blew down, the gate on my fence was blown so hard it popped the lock, my grill was blown off my deck (with full propane tank inside it), trees down everywhere. This storm was no joke. Glad it was my day off. And somehow we never lost power!
