Blocking a flightaware picture

What's this photo look like? :)

Sorry dude, looks like your picture is up on a.net, too.

So after 7 months of operation, my airplane has finally shown up on the internet with a photo on flightaware. Worst part is, I am in the photo. Is there a way that upon the owners request I can have flightaware block the photo?

From a webmaster's perspective, it doesn't hurt to VERY POLITELY ask and be patient.

But since it was taken in an area with no expectation of privacy, there's nothing you can legally do.

I get people with their hair on fire that write me 10-page nastygrams about something they got butthurt about, demanding it be deleted and I just hit/press/mash/smash the delete button and continue looking at funny cat videos.

I was crying after I read this...thank you

Ahh... #webmasterlife :)

It happens all the darned time.

I love the "My cousin is a lawyer and YOU WILL BE SUED!"

"Ahh, then he would have advised you that me moving your mindless lecture on why we must buy gold to the lavatory wasn't actionable"

*delete*

"Oh, that frisky Calico! Can he ever stop chasing that laser pointer? ha hah HONEY! Come look at this!"

But again, to the OP, keep it polite, friendly and FOR THE LOVE OF DAVID HASSELHOFF, keep it short as if it's anything like JC, he gets a crap-ton of email and if your request is "below the fold" after a long intro, *clicky* :)

oh I love the "I know a lawyer." Really? If you knew a lawyer who was remotely interested in your "case" there is a good chance I would be talking to him and not dealing with your emotional email.

Hey Dough, don't hassle the Hoff!

(Maybe this should go in the ICE thread.)

Why not take another picture of your plane without you in it, then, send that picture to the website? Kindly ask them to replace unwanted picture with the sweet one you just uploaded?

Ehh i'm over it. St. Maarten of all places, of course someone is going to take a picture of the airplane, just so happens I was in it. No biggie.

Arindell. Hankey and the ladies were great, but the linemen...yikes. This was on New Years Day during the fuel shortage. Forgot to pull us online and we were stuck at the wrong end of the runway. Had to sit there for 2 + hours waiting for approval to get us towed down the runway to the ramp. Wait Wait Wait, even though there were 30 minute periods of no flying. Anyways, no room on the tug, and I sure as hell was not closing the door on a 90 degree cabin as I rode along...Hence why my head is popping out :D

I've heard mixed reviews about Arindell...and of course now that they're partly owned by Signature. Yikes!

TLC all the way for us. Those guys are GOOD. Of course, you always factor in the "island time" with any of them.
