**Big News For February Applicants**

This thread makes me jealous.

Congrats everyone who got picked!

Is it true people are getting selected for states they picked on the original application, but not on the geo preferences part?
Thats an interesting turn of events if so.

hi everyone. i have been viewing this site for a few weeks now. i applied to the 2/15 application and am still waiting to get a phone call or email! i took the at-sat on 4/1/08 and scored a 94.9. i have a masters in public administration and private pilots license. i was thinking i would have heard from now but im getting nervous now. im 24 and i live in fl, but chose CA #1 and HI #2. Please keep your fingers crossed and congrats to everyone who has received their emails!

You aren't the only one who is still waiting to hear. I scored a 95, have a private pilots license, a bachelors of science in Aviation Management, a bachelors of science in Computer Science. I put down CO and MN ARTCC. Congrats to all who have gotten emails and good luck to you all.

Hey Orange County, I guess we are in the same boat, nothing for me today either. Lets hope they send more out next week and we are on it.

I'm with you on that - I wonder how many others on here didn;t hear back today. I had heard somewhere that our original date to begin receiving emails was not until July 1st - and I've read conflicting things on the forum today saying that the July 1st date might still be in the notification "window." We'll see what happens - I'll be on the computer Monday AM to see if there is any news.

Did you apply to any other openings after the Feb announcement?

The lady I spoke with today in OKC did not even know that emails were being sent out. She said it's usually 2-4 weeks after the panels so there may still be time.

I haven't heard anything yet. 100 on AT SAT, geographical preferences of GA and TX (terminal only).

Nothing for me either...

The high that I was expecting from the combination of good news, it being a Friday, and getting drunk at a club...wow.

But, alas, the inbox shows nothing. Time to call a dealer...

I guess you need or want two-three different responses for the same statement..

Got mine early this morning! terminal for Pennsylvania :)
1st choice was PA
2nd was CO
Congrats to everyone who got one, and patience to everyone who didn't I am sure Most of you will hear something.

Has anyone received a letter of rejection? I mean, even Universities send out letters at least letting you know that you didn't make it in, giving you insight as to what to do next. Will we be on the next casting? Should we reapply? Are they even done? There are too many unknowns that make this whole ordeal that much more frustrating.
I have read too much contradicting information about when the last day of emails will be, so if there is anyone with true inside information (i.e. CJ or other members) a little digging would be greatly appreciated on behalf of a lot of people who are tired of biting their fingernails wanting to know either way.

Got email today (before 5:00pm - though not sure if that really is the cutoff time) !!!!

"Congratulations. You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the Fort Worth ARTCC in Fort Worth, TX."

Replied to the email selecting Chicago, IL as my choice for PEPC, I replied about 5 minutes after they sent the email, hopefully I'm in! :rawk:

They actually do not notify you if you were not selected. I was on the 07 referral list and was never emailed. ASAP still says I'm on the list, and that I "May or may not be contacted for an interview".

The idea is that you are never technically "rejected". If someone drops out of the race for whatever reason and your the next person down the line. You'll get an email. That could be months from now, but to answer your question. You will not receive a notice saying you weren't picked.

Pretty lame in my opinion. I've been on the edge of my seat for months. (finally got my invitation for the Feb announcement today though!) Just keep applying. The people at OKC say persistance pays off. :bandit:

Yeah...I'm at the academy and my ASAP still says I'm on the list and I may or may not be contacted for an interview...so once it says that, stop looking!! It won't change hehe

We are in the same boat... ZFW selected here, Chicago PEPC. See you're in the Dallas Metroplex as well... We're pretty lucky considering we only have a 3 hour drive to class, we don't have to move, easy to come home on the weekends... WOOT!!! :nana2: :rawk: :bandit:

Did you take your ATSAT @ that Marriott over by Six Flags too?
