Best way to recover after losing logbook

Had a job interview yesterday. Printed out the entire logbook, signed every page, made tabs for each year and each job for quick flipping. Interviewers never even opened it up. :p

Are you serious? I used to be a smoker and I was far from lazy or unmotivated. That is such an ignorant statement. One of the best guys I've flown with was a smoker. So, I'm not sure how you came to that rationalization.

By no means am I saying smoking does the body good, clearly it doesn't. But if someone chooses to smoke, than that is their decision.
As a former smoker myself, I will say that whether someone smokes or not has nothing to do with one's motivation.

Humor, this thread needs it!

To quote the great late H.S.T:
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Hunter Thompson ended up blowing his brains out

I've learned from this thread if you smoke and have read Hunter S. Thompson books that you'll become a drug addicted alcoholic that will blow your brains out with a shotgun. Thanks:aghast:

Mine is normally afforded a cursory inspection, to verify that I am in fact, not a massive fraud. Although at my first aviation interview, they didn't even open it.

Hunter S. Thompson made a choice to end his own life, after being in chronic pain from medical conditions, and declining quality of life. I hope that in a similar situation I would be brave enough to make the same decision.

Until then, I intend to enjoy life to it's fullest. I live in a foreign country. I fly airplanes. Life rarely gets better, but I'm working on it. :)
