Best ATC advertisement yet...

NICE!! I proctored an ATP written for a guy who flies for air india. He said he had his home 737 simulator approved by ICAO for recurrency etc... Home sim is the way to go if you can afford and build it! Wish I had one!

So when the interviewer asks, "What qualities do you have that would make you a good ATC." Should he mention any of this...or will they laugh him out of the interview?

Just have him drop little hints, test the water...

Interviewer: "So what kind of activities interest you?"

Husband: "Oh, nothing special. Football -- go Giants -- playing the guitar a little bit on the side, bowling with the men's group at church, leadingaroundagroupofmagicwarelves."

Interviewer: "What was that last one?"

Husband: "Uh, bowling."

Yeah, I play WoW. No, I would not mention it in an interview, as it would be too complicated to explain to a non-player; however, I do believe my experiences with the game will help out in the long run. From what I hear, once you get to the interview, you pretty much have the job unless you are a bumbling idiot or show up in gym shorts or something.

Enjoy your WoW time.. you'll quit once you start the academy.. either that, or you'll be like the guy in our class who falls asleep six times a day.

don't worry I will, so what game do you play that you got that ad anyway?

It was on Facebook or Myspace, can't remember which.

Please commence the laying on of hurt for having a Myspace account.

*Edit* - I was a WoW addict, and still log in about once a week.

anyone notice the part of the ad where they claim the "average" controller makes over $100K ??

If that's the average...hmmmm
