Best Airport Food

Some place in the MSY terminal had really good food. Wish I could remember the name..... Also that seafood restaurant in the BOS airport is REALLY good if you have the time to sit and eat. Again, can't remember the name......

The restaurant on the field at the JVL airport brings in people from miles away, it's a popular destination of the "$100 Hamburger". No, I don't know it's name either.

'Legal Seafood' is the place in BOS, if memory serves..

D'accord!

LIRF is a close second; I've always been partial to LGAT's food as well, as you'll soon see...;)

I dunno, EBBR or EDDF can give it a run for it's money. Then there's always EIDW...

Alright, you international guys with your secret codes...I was curious so I had to look them up.

LFPG-Paris
EDDM-Munich
LIRF-Rome
LGAT, I think is LGAV-Athens
EBBR-Brussels
EDDF-Frankfort
EIDW-Dublin

I can't wait till I can fly the big planes:)

Anthony's or Ivar's in SEA-TAC are great for some clam chowder.

In Seattle, Ivar's Salmon House is great.

As for Kansas City, not much at the airport, but some great BBQ in town! Gate's, Arthur Bryant's, Jack Stack....mmmmmm good.

G&M's Restaurant, a few miles from BWI. 1 pound crab cakes that are to die for. You can get 2 of them for $20 bucks or so with salad, bread, and side dishes. I could only eat 1 of them.

They even ship them to your house!

Harry Carey's in the main terminal at MDW has really good food - they also have a Potbelly Sandwiches if you're into that. And the Riley's Daughter pub there knows how to pour Guinness correctly.

I can't think of a single US major airport that I have found any kind of "Excellent" category food. It is all franchise pre-made sustenance and that is it. There are a few regional airpots that have some good food.
FBO's is a different story of course. So is international.

SIUAv8r hit it on the nose. I have to grab a crab cake sandwich from G&M everytime I overnight in BWI. A little pricey but huge sandwich and 100% real crab meat.

Chef Jimmy's in the A concourse at DIA is pretty good. If I have airport appreciation time, I'll usually try to get over there.

UAL ORD-HNL 1st class - stuffed trout or lamb, and ice cream cart. (vintage early 1980's)

Oh, you said airport. :banghead: There was a BBQ place that wasnt that bad in MEM, kinda pricey though.

Good food where I am regularly...

DAY- Max and Erma's does take out. Get the phone number from ops and give them a call as you taxi in (or are parked) and it will be ready in 10 minutes.

LGA-Ceibos opened up a location there. Also "Mex In The City" has great food.

PHL-Au Bon Pain, Ceibos and Asian Sky Bistro (make sure you ask for the crew menu)

DCA-5 Guys Burgers

CLT- Nothing. God I hate the food in CLT. Best deal I can find is a $6 pizza and salad deal at Pizza Hut.

BNA- Burrito place is great.

Paschals at A and C in KATL is fairly decent I think. Of course you can do Chick fil A on A as well.
