Yep, and IMO Hays Co. BBQ is infinitely better.Are you in HYI? Haven't made it out there in a while I'm out at NZY. We have been doing phases on site here rather than ferrying to Texas so haven't had a chance to get some Blacks bbq in forever!

Last I herd 1st year metro FO pay on North Island was $26k. May have changed. I think they fly 4-500 hours a year but thats a FWAG. They do the same 20 minute flight over and over again...The plus side is your home every night with weekends and federal holidays off, oh and its a scheduled pax run. FAR different gig than the EMB cargo stuff.
The little "oh by the way" about North Island is, there is no reason for anyone to stay past 1500hrs TT. There are zero upgrade opportunities out there. The Captains are content with their QOL. If your a CFI in SoCAL and want to build some turbine time towards ATP mins it could be OK for a bit. A lot of turnover on the SIC side as of late.

How does a guy get the chance to do the metros that go out to Kwaj and all that? I live out here in LIH and have wondered frequently where those guys are based.
