Actually, I shaved my goatee off during the Christmas travel rush because I knew I'd have to sit in the jumpseat on a carrier that doesn't allow them...

I shaved mine off at Denver airport to catch a ride on United....the captain said he wished he could take me, but could not, so I shaved. Made a friend that day

One of the pilots I know at UPS has a full beard. He's allowed to have it because the beard looks better than the razor bumps from ingrown hair.

Yeah, that was trying on glasses in a drug store (obviously). I decided to trim it down, and get a creepy pic with the aviators before I did it. I think you can see why I don't actually own a pair.
