Bangor Maine - private jet w/8 crash

It's in the 3500 and I'm not sure why. Part of ROAAS I think.
Does the 300 series have the same T/O CONFIG as the 600's?

For the 605/650's there are separate flap monitors. One through the CAS and an additional one through the RAAS. If the flaps are not set and RAAS is deactivated, it should be displayed on the CAS as part of the basic Master Warning system.

What matters is if the fluid has failed or not.

You can be within your holdover time, but if it’s lost effectiveness, thats what matters.

If there’s ANY question, pre-takeoff contamination check. If any lingering doubt then, [PA ALL] “Well everyone, we have bad news…”

I’ve cancelled three flights over the years due to failed fluid and being unable to effectively deice. All three have been at night. I sleep very well about all of those decisions.

“220, 221…”

I’m sure he walks up to the oldsters at the “Cars and Coffee” events, looks under the hood of a vintage Corvette and says “You pushin’ Delco spark plugs and MOPAR with the hemi’s?”
I only trust Bob is the Oil Guy for that

I also will add that common sense goes a long way. So there I was trying to go to work via *redacted* (rhymes with “SkyWest”) and it’s snowing pretty hard in northern MN. Deice at the gate with type I and IV. Sit for a half hour for unknown reasons. Taxi to runway. From my seat in back fluid is looking sus. “Well, we need to deice again. They’ll come to the end of the runway.” Fantastic, clean it off and go. Type I and IV again. Sit for a similar amount of time again. “I don’t have confidence in their deicing so we’re going back to the gate.”

…I’m not a backseat pilot, I swear, but there is a reason for HOTs and yeah, after they’re exceeded it’s gonna look bad because it’s bad.

Yall know you are talking to a JetU grad.

Wait wait wait.
Are you saying that a flight school.... in South Florida, requiring a large amount of money up front, through the use of student loans....

... might be a scam?

Scumbag aviation ops in South Florida?!

I'm just so shocked!

(It's also the home of 134.5 charter operations)
