The 102 course in question is actually a six-week session. You meet Monday through Friday for three hours per day. This is different from the nine-week course where you meet Monday through Thursday for two hours per day. Still, like others have said, it's definitely doable. If you take this route, then, depending on your major, you could do 102 in the summer, 221 (instrument flying) in the fall, 222 (instrument procedures) in the spring, 323/324 (Commercial) in the summer, then 325 (Multi-Engine) in the fall of your sophomore year.
If you'd like to enjoy your summer before shoving off to college (a good call, in my opinion), there is also another option. You can do 102 in the fall (instead of in the summer), 221 in the spring, 222 and 323/324 in the summer, then 325 in the fall of your sophomore year.
Doing 325 in the fall of your sophomore year is the fastest way to go through training, so, if this is your goal, the above are your options.
...Heck, I have countless friends who took over 1 full semester to finish their 102.:insane:
I have friends that took three semesters to finish 102. To say that they are lazy would be the understatement of the millennium.
