This position is based at the Hillsboro, Oregon airport, and </span>prepares, updates, maintains, and provides flight information to flight crews and company personnel. The ideal candidate is one who enjoys working a flexible schedule that is 4 days on/4 days off. Each shift is 12 hours from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.</span></p> <p><span><strong><span>We offer a very competitive wage and excellent benefit package! </span></strong><span>Aero Air offers a great benefits package including medical, voluntary dental, voluntary vision, flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with an automatic 3 employee and employer contribution. </span></span></p> <p><span><strong>Required Duties and Responsibilities - </strong>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the required duties and responsibilities.</span></p> <ul> <li><span>Coordinates logistics for crew members and passengers, including arranging air travel, ground transportation, hotel accommodations and catering.</span></li> <li><span>Handles travel issues and conflicts experienced by crew members and assists to make alternative arrangements before and during a trip.</span></li> <li><span>Creates detailed Itineraries and provides relevant information and supporting documentation to crew members and appropriate interdepartmental personnel.</span></li> <li><span>Tracks flights and participates in handling crew schedules.</span></li> <li><span>Efficiently and effectively manages a high call volume, notating and taking appropriate action for each call.</span></li> <li><span>Maintains accurate record keeping and coding of all bookings, billings, and transactions; works cohesively interdepartmentally to ensure smooth handling of such records.</span></li> <li><span>Builds and maintains professional customer relationships via phone, email, and personal interactions.</span></li> <li><span>Maintain reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.</span></li> <li><span>Successful completion and favorable results of pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.</span></li> <li><span>Adhere to all Aero Air policies and standards of conduct.</span></li> <li><span>Other duties as directed.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Impeccable follow through with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent phone etiquette and listening skills.</span></li> <li><span>Prior customer service experience required.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person, on the phone, and through written correspondences.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to demonstrate poise, tact, and professionally interact and communicate with employees, vendors, and individuals at all levels of the organization and community.</span></li> <li><span>Service-oriented and able to build productive professional relationships.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical, particularly given the environment where the pace of emergency services work changes rapidly.</span></li> <li><span>Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate or hand-off to co-workers when appropriate.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Previous experience as a Flight Coordinator.</span></li> <li><span>Experience in the travel or aviation industry.</span></li> <li><span>Part 135 aviation knowledge.</span></li> <li><span>Charter services knowledge.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>High school diploma or equivalent.</span></li> <li><span>Minimum age requirement of 18 years.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong>Physical Re</strong><strong>quirements: </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</span></li> <li><span>Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.</span></li> <li><span>Requires the ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb stairs throughout the day.</span></li> <li><span>Finger dexterity is required as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull.</span></li> <li><span>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus<em>.</em></span></li> </ul> <p><em><span>Aero Air is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination against any person for any reason.
