"We've got the strap, the clap, and the salute." I wish OO would incorporate the doors closed signal. You will find out (if you haven't already) it is VERY annoying flying around with that comm door open.
Multiple times on my last trip. Whistle while we work.

I believe another regional did something similar and you like to bash them for it. Even though it was standard, everyone did it and knew when it was coming? ;)
I believe I was making fun of the precise phraseology invoked. Everyone knows they are takeoff flaps.

It has only happened to me on DTW/PIT/CVG - IAH flights or OKC-LAX/SFO. Good times...
In talking with our newly-minted regional chief yesterday, the professionalism of the DTW REAS/DGS ramp workforce is high up on the list of things they're taking a hard, hard look at.

Hell, I got three salutes in DTW the other day - one from each member of the push crew.

Glad I haven't bid to transfer out. I'm a line holder there and even though the commute to ORD would be one leg and MUCH easier, I'm staying put. ORD would be one step forward, two steps back. Easier commute, but terrible ground service and I'd be the plug. Good CSA and rampers = less drama. I'm all about less drama.

Edit: I know I wrote DTW/PIT/CVG but I can't remember where it happened. I just remember it was some long ass flight to IAH in the 700. Probably CVG. They're terrible there. It happened twice though from the same station.
