I don't especially associate bad things with this, but I suppose that is because I generally don't mind listening to their military stories. That being said, I've only ever worn the ALPA one, don't really see a reason to need to wear something else. I tell the CA exactly as much or as little as they would like to know about my background. If they don't ask any questions, I don't tell them anything, as I assume they don't care. Turns out there are a lot of more interesting topics to discuss. I had a super rad CA on my last trip, and we ended up talking about breweries all over the country, and cars, and just all kinds of random stuff for like 3 days straight. It was awesome. Easily in top 5 list, of people I would love to fly all my trips with. I especially enjoyed the moment as I was reloading a zyn after the first departure, he's like "oh you zyn?" and I said "oh yeah, you want one?" and he's like "nah dude, already got one in"......my man.....
