Did you start with the Private? I only ask because there is no interview for the ACPP if you are doing the PPL as well.I called ATP, and told them I wanted to start at a certain date, they said it was open, so I drove a thousand miles and started training, No interview, no sim ride, no tour, probably stupid of me, but everything turned out ok.
Yes... after you went home... studied up... and came back 3 months later or so and re-did the interview. Understanding that there are some multi questions on the test and that some guys have never stepped foot near a multi prior to that day... usually if the test score came in at under 50%, then that would cause a red-flag and there would be some more questions on the phone interview prior to accepting them into the program.I bet you could answer every question wrong in that interview and they will still accept you.
Attitude, trainability, logbook issues, and knowledge... pure and simple. Then they throw you out head first. Seriously, I don't know what it would take to mess up an ATP interview.

yes, you are about to pay a significant amount of money to come and train... but you will also be flying in $400,000 aircraft on a daily basis and they need to ensure that you will be a good candidate.
Bob
I seen the written test, isn't much to it, one guy I seen come in and got less then a 50% and they still let him in. (they kicked him out later though)
