I'm not sure why Amazon would take on a certificate. It would seem to be easier to just whipsaw the pilot groups against each other.

They won't want to deal with a pilot group. They would rather use the model the majors use for the regionals. Contract it out and make them race to the bottom. I suspect the rumors about them pursuing a certificate are coming from their plans to be operating drones in the near future.

And about the Atlas hiring question... Someone left for AA so looking for a body at Atlas now.
