Atlantic Southeast Airlines/ExpressJet

I saw it on pilotjobs.com and a few people on this thread were talking about it being 600/100. Now that I have done some looking around though it looks like the mins are now established by ASA and are 1500TT/300ME. Quite the difference.

Ouch, there is only 11 in this class at ASA.

Last I heard (ASA side) there are still two more classes scheduled for April. They need to continue to hire though, which they might, but I haven't heard anything else.

Welcome aboard to all the new-hires. If anyone has any questions about the ASA side of the house, whether applying, training, etc. send me a PM.

When do we get to put in preference for domicile and get assigned them? 8 people in our class want ATL, 3 want DTW, one being me. I guess Jennifer is going to be gone for awhile so no one knows whats happening.

And thanks. Looking forward to seeing you out there soon.

I don't know how they do it now since Jen has been put in charge, but they should give you a preference sheet sometime soon. Last I heard all bases and positions were available to bid, EXCEPT ATL CRJ7/9. Bid enough preferences, because you don't want to get stuck somewhere you don't want to be. After the last vacancy bid closed, only 45 people bid for DTW, and they want 56. I think only 3 or 4 in the last class bid DTW, so you should have a failry good chance of getting it.

PM sent. . your box is full . . .

Sorry about that..... I made some room.

I've been getting quite a few PMs with lot's of questions. Be patient, I'm currently on the road and I will get back to everyone in the next day or two.

IF any one wondering about the minimums::

Total Time*
1000Total Pilot in Command Time*
0Total Turbine Time*
0Total Multi Engine Time*
200

Just a quick update. There is an ASA new-hire class on April 4th and 18th. No additional classes planned after those dates at this time.

Sorry for this being my 1st post here but I was curious to possibly learn any inside info people may have about these two companies.

I was recently offered a class date with XJT and want to learn a few things...

What is the junior base within XJTs system?
What is the approximate current reserve time there?
Does Continental still take as many jumpseaters as they have open seats in the cabin? (I flew for XJT from 2004-2006)
What is Delta's jumpseat policy?
During training does the company still positive space you home on the weekends if you want to go?
Any idea on the next ASA class?

Thanks!

From what I have heard, Chicago and Newark are junior.

As far as positive space home during training, I read somewhere that they are only doing that if you have at least three days off in a row. Otherwise...no.

Someone posted that the last known ASA class date is April 18th. I'm sure that could change at any time.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about the rest of your questions. Also, the stuff I answered is just based off what I have read in different forums.

Just got called today to go interview down in ATL. I applied on airline apps about 4 weeks ago. This will be my first airline interview so any advice would be much appreciated!
