I haven't flown into IAD in over a decade, and back then it was either 135 or 121 so I only cared about parking and pax.
Went there today and parked at Atlantic. Fuel was $1/gallon more expensive than at home, 20 gallons waived the $40 ramp fee (for comparison, Signature was over $4 more per gallon), and the security and handling fees came to $33 to spend three hours parked there. They gave us a free shuttle to Udvar Hazy and a timely pickup, making for an amazing day.
The entire experience was professional, friendly, and as nice as you could ask for.
I had no idea IAD could be so GA friendly.
Definitely recommend this to anybody interested in visiting the museum or just experiencing a major Bravo hub.
@NovemberEcho even survived my landings without needing major spinal surgery.
