Every military veteran? Or every military veteran you talk to?Besides Obama sounding like a complete idiot to every military veteran, with that gaffe? Yeah, his staff did him no favors. Plain and simple. Try to understand the conept of how staff and leaders work that I've been making here, it's not very difficult.
To the point of the thread, I don't expect Trump to understand the nuances of the ATC system offhand. I do expect him to be briefed on it, and I do expect him to listen to and soak up the information he's briefed on.
Concede what? That Trump needs to listen to his staff if he isn't doing so? Otherwise he will make mistakes? That's been made clear.
The fact that our President speaks off the cuff as much as he does should make you feel a bit uneasy. Yes it was fun/funny at times during the campaign but now he's the leader of the free world. What he says, does, acts like is a reflection of our populace. As much as you and I don't care for violent protests and think it is a poor form the same is true on the other side of the spectrum. The point is he needs to do the hard work for our country not his personal interests. I believe that was a huge selling point for the "blue collar billionaire". So be it ATC, National Healthcare, Defense, etc he needs to do his homework and have coherent thoughts. He's looked less than stellar during his time in the Oval Office.
Well that's a very relaxed attitude coming from someone who still remembers a mis pronunciation years ago. The help or hurt themselves idea should upset you as a citizen. As I explained above his actions are a direct reflection of our populace. We aren't going to agree I guess since clearly he isn't faltering as much in your opinion as he is mine.I already wrote what needs to be done with respect to the leadership/staff relationship. It's not rocket science. Either Trump will do those things, or he won't. Either his staff will, or they won't. They can help or hurt themselves as much as they like.
