Title says it all. Announced this evening. Of course the furloughs keep their seniority number for the combined company. Also, the onelist or STFD campaign is over, but that's old news.

Seems like a pretty good deal for an XJT furlough that wants to return. You're at the bottom of ASA's seniority list for now, but pay/vacation/benefits are based on your XJT longevity, and when the airlines are combined your spot on the new list will be based on your XJT seniority.

Yup, there a chance some may get the 700/900 and start at ASA making $39/hr. Also will be eligible for performance plus and profit sharing bonus checks. Glad to see XJT guys heading over here.

Not entirely true.....their seniority after the merger would have to be negotiated by the two merger committees. Also they will be considered new hires as far as ASA is concerned. Which means new hire pay and not $39 per hour.

The furloughed XJT pilots hired by ASA maintain XJT longevity for purposes of pay.

I wish I was a furloughed XJT guy. Getting some great treatment. I picked the wrong place to come three years go.

Welcome to the suck. The suck is better than doing whatever it was one may have been doing while on furlough though.

That said, if our leadership thinks 24 pilots will solve their inability to staff the schedule, I want some of what they smokin'.

No kidding. I had some stuff happen this weekend that when scheduling called (I knew about it before) i didn't answer because I would have said some things that would have gotten me in trouble.

LOL, yeah, we all picked the right place by spending 2 years on furlough (and counting).

And to the above poster about XJT longevity during furlough: No, longevity is not accrued during furlough, but everyone on furlough (minus a few November 2007 hires) had been off probation and on second year pay.

Same here. And it was mostly VFR out there! I flew with two line holders working on their off days. One was offered 200% to fly. I didn't even know they did that. I think 24*4 might be a more realistic number... But what would I know, I just deal with the mess they create every day.

24*4 would be very close to what they need.

Although, it'll likely go higher than that come the spring...but they're going to keep dragging their feet on the inevitable.

Glad Im going back on military leave to escape this madness over the winter and early spring.

But hey...at least they're having Aceypalooza to thank us for all your efforts.

Because on our days off (which we won't be off) we all want to come in and spend more time around work...

That was not an accident. Flight crews not invited. :insane:
