ASA getting 900s early....

Ha!

Curious... is that where the software says I am or did you pull Sacramento out of a hat?

I pulled Sacto out of my hat. But the software is saying, without getting too specific for your privacy, "somewhere in the east bay" though.

Indeed a lucky guess!

Taking a peek at your IP data, you're not too far from downtown. Amazing Vietnamese food in.... uhh, "Chinatown" there across the bridge towards downtown OAK.

First off looking at your "blended" payscales I would have told them to shove it too:D Our 50 seat rates are higher than your "blended".

To be fair, your contract is a lot more recent than PSA's......

I'm sure those getting furloughed are ecstatic that the -900 is coming a month early. :sarcasm:

Next, you would have flown 86 seat 900s for Airways.
Our 900 has 6 more seats than the 700.

3rd, besides Horizon we have the highest payscale in the regional industry for 51-76 seats. When you throw in our soft pay stuff we probably are the highest overall. I'm sure PCL 128 can confirm this from ALPA studies.

PSA doesnt fly 900's bud? Also those blended rates are very old and the contract is up to be amended. Our FO rates right now are low however they are pretty common for 50 seat regional jet operators. We only have 14 CRJ 700's and 35 200s. So really not flying the 70 seat one all that much.

ASA only recently got an industry standard contract. Who really cares though. It's obvious many people here are only making points out of history in the last year.

Similar to trying to make a point about global warming.

100 years of data to make a point about 4 billion years of history.

fail

I'm just saying don't throw us under the bus for for flying two aircraft with a 6 seat difference for the same pay. Shoot, Delta flys the 757 and 767 for the same pay:D

Class configuration? Larger airplane etc. Dont you think you deserve a different payrate to fly a LARGER plane?

Like I said before, Delta flys the 757/767 for same rate, as well as the 777/747....don't want to hear all that class configuration, larger plane stuff.

Technically, the 757 pays what the 767 pays, which is a plus when you're zipping around in the 75.

The -400 pays almost what the 777 pays, which is a bonus.

Between the 747 and 777, I have no idea which is more productive.

Love ya man, but bad example.

Great question. Which is one a lot of people at my company can not answer.

So what about an answer to the question.

Do you think you deserve a different payrate to fly a LARGER plane?

Can't get much simpler than that.

Yes we deserve different payrate to fly a larger plane. But comparing our payrates with the rest of the regionals, looks like we've been flying the 700 around for 900 pay....
