ASA/Express new identity: SureJet!

Re: ASA/Express new identity

This really shows how disconnected management is from the company. Absolutely, horribly, disgustingly, embarrassing.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

Oh Em Gee.

I'd post a facepalm pic, but I don't think there's a facepalm pic out there that fully captures the breadth of facepalm necessary.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

You know why we can't staff properly? Because the company has been wasting money on this.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

Hey, the ExpressJet folks should be happy though...at least they kept your font...and merged it with our horrible logo that they created LAST YEAR.

There goes whatever legacy and heritage existed for both companies.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

"SureJet is considered a “hybrid name” made up of two elements that describe who we are as a company. The word “Sure” conveys assurance, certainty and trust, and speaks to our airline as one that provides trusted, reliable service – a true value that our people, customers and business partners can rally behind. The word “Jet” speaks to our all-jet fleet and the fact that we are an airline."

Why didn't they just name us "On-TimeJet"?

Oh wait, nevermind.

Re: ASA/Express new identity

"The name was developed out of months of research, and is based on recurring themes of pride, assurance, reliability and customer service – all characteristics that our people said we stand for and want to be known for going forward".

Someone has done a FANTASTIC job of justifying their job in the office over there... I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry

Re: ASA/Express new identity

I'm thinking it's a good way to kill the company. Maybe that was SkyWest INC. plan all along...

Is this from the company? This statement right here makes me sad, because this means that all turboprop flying will go to skywest, while "surejet" will retain an all jet fleet with primarily 50 seaters.... For all of my jetlink friends, I really hope you can get one list, and I don't get why not.
