ASA/Comair for sale?

According to the new Comair pay freeze contract that just passed by 61%, there was a blurb at the bottom stating that if Comair was bought the new airline would be binded to honor the current contract. Mabe JAM could offer more on the new contract.

There was a memo that came out about 2 yrs ago or so saying that cell phones were not to be used on the ramp areas at all, only in break rooms....you still have some using them in the bins while trying to unload the plane....what a pain its slows us up.

As far as going into BK, many of us have thought all along that it would happen sooner or later. The pilots pay cut and ours was only a portion, small one at that, of the big problems. Leo and his cronies who left didnt help at all. Heck recenly the ex-cfo Michelle Burn got a bonus with her new company of $686,000. That company is in Ch 11 also. Her salary there is $600,000. Fuel hasnt helped but Delta never has had a long term goal plan. The book "Debunking the myth" is a great read on Delta. It was wrote in the late 80's but the author, an attorney who left Delta, nailed the company to a T about strategy and goals. I heard analyst today say they would have to file by end of summer. Who knows!!
 
Oh, man. I've had guys talking on their cel phones at the bottom of the beltloader while I'm sweating in the bin. Kind ticks me off when they have to stop the beltloader after every bag since they only have one free hand.....
