Maybe before we die. Seriously, Iain has a better chance of hooking up with the Olsen twins than Valve does of releasing HL2 on a specific date. Stollen source code, compatibility issues...
Personally, I am looking forward to HL2 more than D3. I haven't played HL2 but I expect the gameplay to be better than D3's. D3 may have a leg up on overall ambiance. Whateva!
