Any Frontier guys here?

Just to add to that goobers post, even with the changes, ups and downs the pilot group is a great bunch of guys. Relaxed and professional.
I did an internship in the CP's office right after the Republic takeover. Everyone there was an awesome person so I've always hoped things worked out one way or the other. Going the Spirit route is tough to see but if it makes them money then good.

When I was younger I loved Frontier because you guys were one of the first to put TV's at each seat, and as a 12 year old, that • was the bomb!
I still fly Frontier quite regularly out of DTW heading out to SFO and I like the experience but you can tell it's not quite the same as it used to be. Being tall and the seats being more crammed is definitely noticeable.

Am I reading this correctly? The CEO will be replaced by board oversight of the president and the chairman? They way it was written, this sounds like a permanent setup. I would expect this to be interim. Am I missing something?

Not all that unusual. Lots of companies combine the offices of President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board. Frontier is just having one guy in the executive office handle operations, and the other guy handle finances.

I totally agree with this above. Frontier used to be one of my favorite airlines to fly / commute on. Sad to see them go to the Spirit business model.

Would that be the 'make money hand over fist' business model??? Yeah, I agree...why would anyone want job security by working for a profitable airline.
