There is no such thing as an entry level dispatch postion with any major carrier. (DAL/AA/UAL/COA/JB/TRS/Etc...). The only way to get a foot in the door is to either find a regional who hires newbie DX'ers (PSA Airlines) or find a small Part 135/91 Charter operation (doesn't require a licensed dispatcher but looks good in their advertising) - See my post - http://forums.jetcareers.com/flight-control-dispatch/112908-dispatch-job-florida-part-135-91-a.html - This company is a 5 plane operation and flies quite a bit. The work hours are very reasonable and is a very easy job, but great experience for a newly certificated DX'er.
It has been my experience over the past 10 years as a dispatcher that even with 5 years of 121 regional experience as a dispatcher and dispatch supervisor, anyone looking to go to a major carrier with less than 10 years of experience has a pretty slim chance. I have interviewed with SWA, NetJets International, Airtran, and Delta and have been turned down due to dispatchers on furlough with 15-20 years experience being accepted by these carriers.
Keep pumping resumes into the system and eventually someone will call you. I know for a fact that if you send a resume to the Part 135 operator in Florida, they will give you a look.
