I agree. If you have a thick skin and can sort through some of the B.S (
)....there's an awful lot of experience over there.

I agree... Here is my comparison, take it for what it is worth...
JetCareers.com = Mostly young people who are considering an Aviation Career, people who are still working on their training and just getting started in the industry, peppered with a few highly experienced pilots who enjoy mentoring new pilots. Conversation is generally upbeat and motivational, however many of the "lesser" points of an aviation career are rarely discussed... I feel this last point is one of the downsides to this site, I personally feel a person interested in this career field should be given the good with the bad... A completely informed person is a better decision maker than one who is handed a pair of rose colored glasses, is patted on the back and told everything will be just fine...
FlightInfo.com = Mostly pilots who are flying professionally already (CFI's, Freight, Charter, Regionals, Fractional, Military, Majors, Corporate) peppered with some new people just starting on their training or considering starting their training. FlightInfo pilots typically have worked through the excitement of that first job, first turbine time, etc... and are now dealing with the everyday issues of the industry such as contracts, pay, duty regs, management, benefits, retirement, job searches, furloughs, etc... "The novelty has worn off" so to say... But here you will get an "uncensored" look at the industry as it is, from the people currently living it... The downside of the FlightInfo site is there is a lot of threads that are not aviation related, or go off on tangents from their original purpose... If you can sort through the non-related stuff, there is a goldmine of information over there for anyone considering a career in Aviation...
Both sites have their pluses and minuses, I am a person who would rather have all of the information instead of just the stuff that makes me feel good. If you've read many of my posts, you know I tell it like it is, good and bad, with no candy coating... Aviation can be a bitter pill, better to know that going in than to find out when it is too late... That being said, I wouldn't want to trade my Aviation Career for any other career (except maybe retirement) but thats just me, I could be wrong...
